Lead SDLC Process Owner

What will you do?
The Lead Technology Leadership Professional is responsible for all aspects of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for Humana IT.
We’re looking for a professional with experience designing or supporting an enterprise-wide SDLC. This person understands what it takes to deliver technical solutions while optimizing risk and is comfortable with technology, controls, compliance, Agile methodologies, and process improvement. The ideal candidate is customer-centric, welcoming feedback to improve our approach. They get work done and demonstrate skill at communicating and building relationships at all levels—executive to engineers. A steering committee of executives provides regular strategic direction for the future of our SDLC. You will organize a group of expert Directly Responsible Individuals to bring that strategic vision to life.
Responsibilities
The Lead SDLC Process Owner plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives and works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. The Lead will be accountable and responsible for defining the future of our System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the included processes and standards.
Other Key Responsibilities
Evaluate existing processes
Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement and identify indicators for future improvement opportunities
Measure performance against process requirements and align improvement to performance shortfalls
Provide consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality
Deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control
Observe, survey, and analyze best practices within Humana and externally for techniques and processes
Advise executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance
This role is a remote, work at home role anywhere in the US. Candidates in Louisville will have flexibility to work both in office and at home.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Azure Boards
Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean certification
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification and/or experience operating in an environment that uses SAFe
Experience with IT governance frameworks such as COBIT
Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$115,300 - $158,600 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
