Mrs. Roberts is a founder of LexTech, a 29-year-old business and technology company based in Lexington, Kentucky, and a partner in B&R Farms, a 70-year-old family farm in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. Her company, LexTech, has provided services and products in over 25 states in the US. Mrs. Roberts merged her agricultural farm roots with her love of technology and worked with a $3B agricultural global enterprise with businesses in over 120 countries for six years.
She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics. She has collected many computer industry certifications over the years. She has been nicknamed “the unique geek” because she is known for her knowledge of high-end technology, business processes and her communication skills. She has a passion to coach and encourage more women to succeed in the technology field.
Mrs. Roberts has always believed in community service and has served in many organizations including the Bluegrass Community and Technology College CIT Advisory Board, the Rotary Club of Lexington (Board of Directors), YMCA of Central Kentucky (Executive Board of Directors and Secretary), The United Way of the Bluegrass (Board of Directors), The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Kentucky chapters (Board of Directors, Vice President, President, National Public Policy, Membership Council Director and Market Engagement Chair),. Calvary Baptist Church (Welcome Committee Chair, Budget Committee, RA Director, GA leader, and Sunday School teacher). The Lane Report named Mrs. Roberts as one of the “Top Women in Business”. The Lexington Chapter of NAWBO has recognized Mrs. Roberts as their Member of the Year and their Public Policy Advocate of the Year.
She is married to W. A. (Bill) Roberts, Jr. and they have one son, Austin.
