Heather is a fervent champion of women in technology and has served as a technology leader in both the public and private sectors for more than 20 years..

She launched the #KYGoDigital movement during her time at the Kentucky Department of Education where she passionately supported more than 100 KY districts with modernizing their digital systems and workflows.  In 2018, she joined JCPS to lead the digital transformation team in partnership with Google, Microsoft, Apple, SMART and many other innovative edtech companies.

She recently served as a Client Partner Director for MTX Group, a global implementation partner providing expertise across a range of platforms and technologies including Google Cloud, Salesforce, artificial intelligence/machine learning, data integration, analytics, and mobile technology.  She currently serves at the director of the public sector for Coastal Cloud.

Heather sits on both the KY To The World and the KY Innovation Capital Advisory Boards and is a sought after keynote speaker, emcee, and podcast guest. In 2019, she was announced as a Tech Power Player Award Winner in Louisville, KY.
