Evie Oregon is the UX Research Lead at Waystar, with a remarkable transition from professor to industry expert. She holds a Ph.D. from Michigan State University, a Master’s of Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University. With over a decade of experience in E-Learning Development, online instruction, and user experience research, Evie is passionate about leveraging data to drive human-centered design solutions across diverse industries.
Passionate about harnessing the power of data, Evie believes that research questions should guide methods to drive thoughtful, innovative, and human-centered design solutions. Her diverse background spans multiple industries. A lifelong learner, Evie excels at identifying opportunities for improvement and creating intuitive user experiences. Outside of work, Evie enjoys observing human behavior, embarking on creative side projects, and visiting her local Home Depot for her next home enhancement and With her unique blend of expertise and passion, Evie is committed to shaping exceptional user experiences in the tech landscape.
