Emilee Tellez is a Field CTO, with over 13 years of IT experience—including more than a decade at Veeam Software. She began her career at CDW before transitioning into sales at Veeam, then pivoted into engineering, where her passion for technology and problem-solving quickly accelerated her path. She was promoted to Field Systems Engineer, supporting commercial and public sector clients across a seven-state region, and now plays a strategic leadership role influencing product direction and field enablement globally.

Based in Phoenix, AZ, she is a recognized expert in data resilience and operational recovery. She co-leads incident response and cyber recovery workshops across North America, helping organizations strengthen their ability to withstand ransomware, cyber extortion, and large-scale disruption. She regularly partners with product management to shape innovative disaster recovery solutions, while also creating technical content and delivering presentations that resonate from the boardroom to the field. Additionally, she has contributed to a panel discussion on cybersecurity for Women In Tech Global Conference in Paris, just one of the many speaking engagements she has participated in around the world.
